Flat-pack shops keep prices down, but building a PAX, a MALM or an ottoman bed at home takes time. We assemble it following the manufacturer’s instructions and leave your furniture ready to use.

Why we ask for the product name
At IKEA, JYSK or Conforama every item has a name and public assembly instructions. With that we know how many steps it takes, whether it needs two people and which wall fixings are required. That way the assembly price reflects what you actually bought, not a rough guess.
If you can't remember the name, a photo of the label on the box or of the receipt works just as well.
Most commonly assembled furniture
- IKEA: PAX and BRIMNES wardrobes, MALM and HEMNES chests of drawers, BILLY and KALLAX shelving, beds, sofas and desks.
- JYSK: ottoman beds and bed frames, wardrobes, chests of drawers, garden furniture and shelving.
- Conforama: wardrobes, living room furniture, children’s bedrooms and flat-pack bathroom furniture.
IKEA furniture assembly prices
The price depends on the number of items, their size and whether they need anchoring. A two-metre PAX wardrobe with interior fittings and sliding doors is far more work than a small bookcase. That is why we quote from your actual list before agreeing a date.

Frequently asked questions
Can you collect the furniture from the shop?
Usually customers receive the furniture through the shop’s home delivery or collect it themselves. If your situation is different, let us know and we will see what we can do.
Do you assemble second-hand IKEA furniture?
Yes, we also dismantle and reassemble used furniture, for example when you move. Bear in mind that some particleboard furniture doesn’t cope well with being assembled many times: if we see a problem, we will tell you.
What if the shop delivers incomplete furniture?
We check the parts when we open the boxes. If something is missing, IKEA, JYSK and Conforama handle replacement parts through their customer service; we tell you exactly which part to order.
Is anchoring furniture to the wall necessary?
Many manufacturers include an anti-tip kit for chests of drawers and tall bookcases and recommend using it, especially if there are children at home. We fit it with the right fixings for your wall.
