What affects the price
When you ask for a quote, these are the factors we take into account:
Type and number of jobs
A bedside table and a three-door wardrobe don’t take the same time. Nor do one item and ten.
Complexity
Sliding doors, drawers with lots of runners or units that need levelling all add working time.
The property
Type of wall (brick, concrete, plasterboard), uneven floors, no lift or limited space to work.
Travel
Benidorm is our main area. For other towns, travel may affect the price.
Extra materials
TV brackets, special fixings, screws or shutter straps not supplied with the product.
Dismantling
If old furniture has to be taken apart first, that is added to the job.
Price by service
Furniture assembly at home
Furniture assembly is priced from your list: with the name of each item we know how long it takes. For IKEA, JYSK or Conforama, the reference is enough. Details in furniture assembly and IKEA furniture.
How much does a furniture assembler charge per hour?
It’s a common question, but an hourly rate on its own can work out expensive or cheap depending on the assembler’s skill. That’s why we prefer to quote each job: you know the amount before we start.
Kitchen fitting
A kitchen is quoted from the plan or the list of units. The number of units and tall units, integrated appliances and the condition of the walls all play a part. More in kitchen fitting and IKEA kitchen fitting prices.
Fitting a cooker hood
Replacing a hood with the ducting already in place costs less than installing a new one from scratch. Send us a photo of the kitchen and the hood model. See kitchen and bathroom jobs.
Small repairs
For short jobs, travel makes up a large part of the cost. If you group several tasks in one visit, the price per task goes down. See small home repairs.
Frequently asked questions
Do you charge for a quote?
When the job can be assessed from photos and a description, we send you the quote on WhatsApp. If a large job needs a visit beforehand, we will tell you first and explain the terms.
Can the price change on the day?
The quote is based on the information you give us. If the job turns out to be different when we arrive (more furniture, a different wall material, missing parts), we explain and agree any change with you before carrying on.
How do I pay?
We tell you the payment options when we confirm the quote.
Why don't you publish an hourly rate?
Because every job is different. We prefer to give you a quote for your specific job, so you know the amount before we start.
